How It All Started

Feature Header

Established in 1990, Europa Sports Products started simply enough like most small businesses. It was a pull yourself up by the bootstraps type of company started by Jeff Compton, COO and Eric Hillman, CEO. No strangers to the industry, Jeff and Eric have been competing in bodybuilding and taking supplements since the early 80’s.

The reasons for starting Europa were simple as Jeff describes it,  “In 1990, my colleague and good friend Eric Hillman, our CEO, and I were sales reps for a supplement company and found ourselves limited to only what they had to offer. These limitations are what helped inspire the philosophy of Europa Sports Products, as we wanted existing and all potential customers to have a much larger variety of supplements and product lines to choose from. Our goal for Europa was to be THE “one-stop-shop”. Our mission today, as it was when we started, is to supply our customers with great service, knowledge, a wide variety of choices and do whatever it takes to be the best supplement distribution company in the industry.”

With that goal in mind Europa Sports Products was born and the rest is history. Europa has evolved from 1 brand based in Charlotte, NC to proudly distributing over 200 brands of sports supplements and 7 locations operating throughout the nation.
